Who Do You Say I Am?
Who Do You Say I Am?
Faithfulness to Jesus in an Age of Spiritual Crisis
Over the past couple of years, I have found myself wrestling not only with the spiritual, social, and cultural moment we are in, but also with the prompting of the Holy Spirit within it.
At the centre of all this has been a disarmingly simple question:
"Who do you say I am?"
This is the question Jesus asks His closest companions in Matthew 16, Mark 8, and Luke 9. Yet it is also the question that all who claim to follow Jesus must seek to answer every single day of our lives, not merely in confession, liturgy, or doctrinal alignment, but in how we discern, follow, interpret, obey, and embody Jesus in a world of many voices and many claims.
